Subway Academy One serves a dynamic community of academically driven students who are looking for new forms of engagement and support in their education. We help students define success for themselves regardless of life’s challenges. Our program balances the academic rigour of a university and college bound curriculum with a contemporary and cutting-edge liberal arts focus. We measure student achievement through individual process and celebrate small steps that lead to overall happiness and success.

Scheduling
Classes are one hour long, three times a week. Our flexible schedule is designed to accommodate students who have responsibilities outside of school, with an understanding that assigned work will be completed independently. Students are expected to attend their classes and when absent call or email their teachers.

Access
TTC fare is available to students who live more than five kilometres and who attend classes regularly. Our breakfast program nourishes students, promotes healthy minds and models healthy living. We are able to offer support from a social worker who can provide resources for a multitude of struggles that prevent young people from finishing school.
